Our History
Founded in Orebro, Sweden, in January 2009, by Viktor and Nina Garmiani, Candles Scandinavia began with a simple mission: to create high-quality, natural candles that are better for people and the planet.
What started as a local passion for sustainable craftsmanship has grown into one of the world’s leading private label home fragrance manufacturers. Over the years, we’ve combined Scandinavian design traditions with state-of-the-art automation to scale our production without compromising on quality or sustainability.
Today, we proudly produce millions of natural wax candles and diffusers annually, serving global brands that share our values of excellence, innovation, and environmental responsibility.

FOUNDER & CEO
Viktor Garmiani is a trained HVAC engineer with a degree from IUC Katrineholm. He is a driven entrepreneur who, along with his wife Nina Garmiani, founded Candles Scandinavia, which they have built from the ground up. Viktor is currently actively working as the CEO of the Company. In addition to his role as CEO and board member of Candles Scandinavia, he has served on the board of companies such as Oppboga Bruk Aktiebolag and The Wyse Group AB.

He has extensive experience in operations, supply chain management, quality and product development, having held several senior leadership and executive roles within Candles Scandinavia AB. In addition, he has prior professional experience from Apoteket AB, providing valuable insight into structured processes, large-scale operations, and regulated business environments.

Pete leads the company’s research and development, quality systems, and regulatory compliance, ensuring that products meet international standards while supporting innovation and long-term growth. Before working at Candles Scandinavia, Pete held senior technical and quality roles at a UK-based candle manufacturer, gaining extensive hands-on experience across laboratory operations, product development, and manufacturing. He plays a key role in developing safe, high-quality products and driving continuous improvement across Candles Scandinavia’s laboratory and quality functions.
